This is a short term mission team from First Baptist Church of Elk Grove California. This team will be in Cameroon from March 28 through April 17, 2011. They will be putting a roof on a church in Lassin, Cameroon and also serving in the areas of Children's Ministry and Women's Ministry.

Today I got to see the troops off at the airport. Josh (my son) appears to have survived food poisoning from the night before. He was a bit green, but convinced he was going to Cameroon. Gordon mentioned he had some issues himself. All I could thing was that Satan was doing his best to split the team, but he lost.
The team was was excited at the airport and ready for a great adventure. Keep praying that the shield of faith will prevail over the enemy's arrows.
